EURAO maintains the following stakeholder relationships:
In 2019 the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) admitted EURAO as a member of its Radiocommunication Sector (ITU-R) after a long process of five years since the first membership application was presented. Read more.
In 2018 the
Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the
United Nations (UN) adopted the recommendation of the
Committee on Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to grant
special consultative status to
EURAO.
This recognition allows EURAO to be heard in the subsidiary bodies of the UN and even participate in its meetings in person. Read more.
In 2015
EURAO signed a Letter of Understanding (
LoU) with the
Electronic Communications Committee (
ECC) of the
European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (
CEPT) with the aim of cooperating in all Amateur Radio matters, mainly about radio spectrum management and international recommendations.

European Union, shared by the
European Parliament,
Council and
Commission, and created in order to enact their commitment to openness about the groups and organisations that try to influence the formulation or implementation of
EU policy and legislation, like
