CMR-23: EURAO estuvo en la conferencia de Dubai

La delegación de EURAO estuvo en la Conferencia Mundial de Radiocomunicaciones 2023 en Dubai este mes. Una experiencia interesante y un paso más en aprender como funciona esta organización y cual debería ser nuestro papel como miembros de UIT-R.
Grupos de trabajo, comités, sesiones plenarias, delegaciones de países, siglas, protocolos, pasillos, pausas para el café, dispositivos de traducción simultánea, eventos paralelos, etc. Todo un mundo al que EURAO empieza a tener acceso y que debe saber gestionar con responsabilidad.

The General Assembly 2023 of EURAO was held the last Wednesday of June via internet, after a previous contact in Friedrichshafen the weekend before.
The incorporation of a couple of new member associations was approved, one Portuguese and the other Romanian, as well as the financial reports and the budget.

EURAO's presence at the German exhibition last June was dedicated to show up projects and activities with the kids that are just discovering amateur radio benefits, and promote its proposal of: "2024, the year of children and young radio amateurs!".
With this idea in mind, EURAO invites radio amateurs around the world to spend more time setting up projects and offering help to children and young radio amateurs to find out more about our hobby.

Así que EURAO tendrá de nuevo un stand (A1-994), al lado del CISAR (A1-990), en HAM RADIO 2023 (23-25 junio) para atender a sus miembros, amigos y visitantes, escuchar sus opiniones y compartir experiencias.

EURAO celebrated WTISD 2023 with ITU

17 May is the World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (WTISD).
The theme of this year is: "Empowering the least developed countries through information and communication technologies".
Invited by ITU, EURAO participated remotely in this event.

ARS, YO9KBZ, founded in 2023, is one of the singular ham radio associations in Romania that develops programs in STEAM education system in order to make the science more attractive for kids. No doubt that ham radio has many domains that can offer curriculum and curiosity to teach more about the waves and electronics.
