EURAO Party - Spring 2016: whispering the bands

The European Radio Amateurs' Organization announces a new party on the air, this time with the motto: "whispering the bands". Remember this is not a contest, it is just a radio meeting with a few simple 'rules', better to call them recommendations.

RCL RCL, CS0RCL, is a Portuguese ham association founded in 1984 and declared of public utility since 1994. It manages several V-UHF repeaters and beacons. Also very active in HF, DX, contests and awards.

Recently RCL has become member association of EURAO.

L'Organització Europea de Radioaficionats anuncia una nova festa a l'aire, aquesta vegada amb el lema: "fem RTTY". Això no és un concurs, és només una trobada per ràdio amb unes poques 'regles' molt simples, quasi millor dir-els-hi recomanacions.

CQ EECE 2015: practicing skills is the goal!

RNRE at HAM RADIO 2013 The European Emergency Communications Exercise held on October 3, was the second edition of this kind of exercices, in which participated hams and SWLs from: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, UK, ...

Some of the participants were volunteers in local sections of organizations like Red Cross. Others transmitted from their radio club stations. But most of them were at home.

Propagation allowed only QSOs on 40m band, not on 20m. But despite that, several messages crossed the continent.

Radio Clubs of the World Sprint Contest 2015

Diploma EANET After the great welcome of the previous editions, it comes again the "sprint contest" version of the EANET Award, devoted to the "Radio Clubs of the World". It will be on November 8, 08:00-12:00 UTC.

In just four hours you can win original and funny prizes that you can share with your mate or friends: hotels, restaurants, wellness or adventures.

Moreover, you will have the opportunity to contact those radio clubs you still needed to complete the EANET Award.

How to fill the EECE message template

The European Emergency Communications Exercise (EECE) is about to practice the exchange of messages between radio amateurs with some fixed data, using a template like this:

Before every Exercise, download the previous template and print several copies in order to be ready to listen and write down messages.
