In a very short period of time, EURAO has managed to gather around itself many radio amateurs from all over the world in an exciting collective project that has received recognition from many international bodies.

Association, clubs, groups and individuals are part of this young, global and open ecosystem called European Radio Amateurs' Organization. Thanks to all for your support.

Let's remember some of the most relevant milestones of the European Radio Amateurs' Organization so far:

• 2005: F5RCS, Vincent, proposed the idea of creating an European association of radio amateurs for those (>60%) out of the only one existing internationally then;
• 2009: a Promoters Committee was created by the first member associations, it operated like an assembly: one member, one vote; decissions taken by half plus one;
• 2010: starting EuroBureauQSL like a coordinated network of bureaus members already run;
• 2011: first face to face Meeting, in Barcelona (Spain);
• 2012: official presentation at HAM RADIO exhibition, Friedrichshafen (Germany);
• 2013: the first Statutes were approved and a Board of Directors elected;
• 2014: headquarter settled in France, becoming registered/declared association under the French law of 1st July 1901;
• 2015: agreement (LoU) signed with CEPT/ECC;
• 2016: participation in several CEPT/ECC meetings;
• 2017: configure the EURAO Boulevard at HAM RADIO exhibition in Friedrichshafen;
• 2017: first formal meeting with IARU Region 1;
• 2018: ECOSOC of the United Nations endorsed special consultative status;
• 2019: admitted as a Radiocommunications Sector member of ITU;
• 2020: launch of a new global service: the Radio Amateur Insurance;
• 2023: participation in the Dubai World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC-23) of ITU;
