The European Radio Amateurs' Organization announces a new party on the air, this time with the motto: "catching Christmas stations". Remember this is not a contest, it is just a radio meeting with a few simple 'rules', better to call them recommendations.

The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) admitted EURAO as a sector member in June, just a couple of days before HAM RADIO exhibition, although the official letter arrived later. That's why we were so happy after five years pursuing that goal.
Now Amateur Radio is no longer represented by a single organization. The more the better. Sincere thanks to all members who had believed in this project.
The president of REF, F5DJL, visited the EURAO booth at HAM RADIO 2019 and met its Secretary-General, EA3CIW, who, a week before, had sent an email offering support and collaboration in the 144-146 MHz affair before French Administration.
Let's keep in mind that current EURAO HQ is in France.
Both exchanged views and concerns and agreed on the importance of addressing this issue with diligence and trying the maximum consensus.
Friedrichshafen is still the best meeting place for European radio amateurs and EURAO was there to keep in touch with its members and friends, contact other entities and hold its General Assembly.
The Assembly was very fine and all issues were approved unanimously, including a common strategy to address the threat over the 144-146 MHz band. Several new projects were discussed and kicked off.
Next year we hope to see you there in June 26-28, 2020.
