EuroBureauQSL is a global network of entry points, or bureaus, that handle QSL cards traffic among radio amateurs world wide. It is sponsored by EURAO.

EuroBureauQSL is also the website that supports all the information and operations of this network.

This article seeks to explain how the system works for a normal user.

Notice: Before starting you should know that there is a procedure for massive shipping of QSLs. If you provide the log in ADIF format, in return, you will obtain labels with barcodes and all data entered automatically into the system. Contact the webmaster for this option.

Manual QSL cards management

A lot of hams manage their QSL cards manually, personally, as if they would write a letter to their contacts.

They do usually the following steps:

1. Fill the fields on their printed cards
2. Write the address of the bureau on the envelope
3. Put the cards in the envelope
4. Send the envelope

In order to register the cards in the EuroBureauQSL website and to be able to make a later follow-up, a few steps should be added (in red):

1. Fill the fields on their printed cards
2. Stick an small barcode label in each card
3. Enter some data of the card on the website
4. Write the address of the bureau on the envelope Create an envelope on the website and print it
5. Put the cards in the envelope and asign the cards to the envelope on the website
6. Send the envelope, idem on the website

The first thing you need is the barcode labels, like the one at the right.

On the website you have the option of printing a page full of labels. Then you can cut them individually, ready to stick one on each card.
